Maracas Bay Trinidad

45 minutes outside of Port of Spain, Trinidad, there is a place called Maracas Bay. To get there you travel up and down windy roads through the mountains. Along the way there are scenic views and vendors on the side of the road selling fruits and drinks. A person would have to be a skilled driver to manage the curves and oncoming traffic. (They drive on the opposite side of the road as well.) Once you arrive to Maracas, its views are amazing!! Beautiful trees, a sandy beach and water as far as the eye can see. One thing that is a must do when you go to Maracas Bay.....Richard’s Bake and Shark! It’s a fried shark sandwich that is so delicious that you might want two!!!
